Rural Revitalization Strategy for Newfoundland and Labrador.

The Department of Jobs, Growth and Rural Development (JGRD) is undertaking
engagement and consultation sessions to help shape the development of a Rural Revitalization Strategy for Newfoundland and Labrador. The strategy will take a region-by-region approach to support sustainable economic growth and stronger ruralcommunities.
Through these engagements, we are seeking input on a shared vision for rural
revitalization, opportunities and challenges facing rural regions, ways to strengthen
regional economic development and local leadership, priorities and actions to support
rural communities and economies, and measures of success for healthy and prosperous
rural regions.

We are travelling throughout Newfoundland and Labrador hosting region-specific, invite-
only stakeholder sessions from September to November. We are pleased to invite you toattend a session that best suits your schedule and location. Stakeholder events will take
